Financial Stability Learning Program

Build practical money management skills through structured learning sessions starting September 2025

Most people struggle with finances because they've never had proper guidance. We're launching a six-month program that breaks down budgeting, savings strategies, and financial planning into manageable weekly sessions. Our approach focuses on real-world application rather than theory you'll never use.

The program runs from September 2025 through February 2026, with sessions held at our Port Macquarie location. You'll work through actual financial scenarios and build a personalized stability plan.

Program Timeline and Topics

Each month tackles a different aspect of financial management. Sessions run weekly on Tuesday evenings, with optional Saturday workshops for deeper dives.

September 2025

Understanding Your Current Position

We start by mapping where your money actually goes. Most participants discover spending patterns they weren't aware of. You'll learn to track expenses without making it feel like homework and identify areas where small changes create noticeable impact.

October 2025

Building Realistic Budgets

Budgets fail when they're too rigid or unrealistic. This month covers flexible budgeting methods that accommodate irregular income and unexpected expenses. We'll work through different approaches until you find one that actually fits your life.

November 2025

Emergency Fund Strategies

Even a small emergency fund reduces financial stress significantly. You'll learn practical approaches to building savings when money feels tight, and strategies for keeping those funds separate from daily spending accounts.

December 2025

Managing Debt and Credit

Debt isn't inherently bad, but it needs proper management. This module covers prioritizing repayments, understanding interest rates, and using credit cards without falling into common traps. We also discuss when consolidation makes sense and when it doesn't.

January 2026

Planning for Larger Goals

Once basics are covered, we look at medium-term goals like home deposits or education costs. You'll learn to break large targets into achievable steps and adjust plans when circumstances change.

February 2026

Maintaining Momentum

The final month focuses on creating systems that continue working after the program ends. You'll develop review habits and learn to adjust your approach as your situation evolves.

Learning Formats

Different people learn best in different settings. We offer three formats that can be combined based on what works for you.
